$151.9 Million PowerBall Ticket Claimed in Time for Christmas!!!
Rhode Island’s largest PowerBall prize has been claimed. The $151.9 million PowerBall winner, Sheila Botelho of Swansea, MA, appointed attorney, Peter Saulino, to claim the winnings on her behalf.
The $151.9 million winning PowerBall ticket for the drawing held on
November 28th was purchased at the Warren Mart, 428 Child Street in Warren.
Sheila chose the cash option and will receive a lump sum payment of $75,231,092.06
before taxes and $51,157,142.61 after 25% in Federal Taxes and 7% State Taxes have been withheld.
The state of Rhode Island will also benefit greatly from this big win, receiving a lump sum tax payment of $5,266,176.44.
