Hoosier Lottery Launches Powerball 10X Promotion

Hoosier Lottery Launches Powerball 10X Promotion

INDIANAPOLIS – Powerball players can always add power to their play with Power Play. During the month of April, however, Powerball players have the chance to add even more power to their play with the Powerball 10X Promotion. During the month of April, players can potentially multiply their non-jackpot winnings up to 10 times; or to a maximum of $2,000,000!

Power Play is a kicker, or multiplier, that normally allows Powerball players to multiply their non-jackpot winnings up to five times, or to a maximum of $1 million. The Power Play number is chosen randomly by spinning a wheel during each Powerball drawing. In the month of April, a “10” will be added to the wheel in place of one of the four “5” spaces.

In conjunction with the Powerball 10X Promotion, throughout the month of April the Hoosier Lottery is embarking on a month-long, state-wide informational tour to increase awareness of the possibilities of Powerball’s Power Play option. Hoosier Lottery personnel, traveling in the Dream Machine, will visit retailers, talking to players about Powerball with Power Play and giving away free gifts to those who purchase Powerball with Power Play tickets.

"We're excited to be informing our players about such an exciting opportunity to win perhaps as much as $2,000,000 in non-Powerball jackpot prizes," said Kathryn A. Densborn, Executive Director of the Hoosier Lottery.
