07/07/07 ONE MEGA MILLIONS TICKET WINS ESTIMATED $126 MILLION JACKPOT; Ticket Sold In Texas Matches All Six Numbers To Win
Mega Millions players are checking their tickets after Friday’s drawing,
because somewhere there is a ticket worth an estimated $126 million. That ticket, which was purchased in Texas, matched the winning numbers 3-9-12-25-47 and the Mega Ball number 37 in the July 6, 2007 drawing.
That ticket was not the only winner in Friday’s drawing. A total of 813,941 other tickets won prizes, including seven tickets that each won $250,000. They matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those seven tickets were sold in Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New York (2), Texas and Virginia.
