INDIANAPOLIS - Everyone who purchased a Hoosier Lotto ticket at Mobil Columbus at 2220 E. Columbus Drive in East Chicago, Indiana recently needs to check their tickets carefully. One ticket sold at that retailer matched all six numbers to win last night's record-setting estimated $54.5 million jackpot!
The winning numbers for the November 7 drawing are 8-15-16-17-35-39.
The holder of the lucky winning ticket matching all six numbers just won the largest Hoosier Lotto jackpot in the history of the game and defied odds of 1:12,271,512 to win the jackpot.
The winner may choose to take payment as an annuity estimated at $2.3 million a year paid over 30 years or in a one-time lump sum estimated payment of $40.4 million before taxes.
The ticket holder is encouraged to sign the back of the ticket immediately and contact the Hoosier Lottery at 1-800-955-6886. The prize must be claimed at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis within 180 days.
Mobil will receive a 1% bonus or $100,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
More than 17 million Hoosier Lotto players won secondary prizes totaling more than $28.5 million between October 25, 2006 and November 7, 2007.
