Edward and Bertha Hopper of Tompkins Cove, Rockland County, collected their 1/2 share of a $17,000,000
jackpot from the Mega Millions multi-state drawing held in May 2008.
Vails Gate on New Windsor Highway sold this winning lotto ticket. The store received a $10,000 cash bonus
for selling the winner. Illinois Lottery officials confirm the second winning ticket sold for the May 23, 2008 Mega Millions
drawing was claimed.
