New Castle resident hits Delaware Powerball for $200K
Dover, Del. 90-year-old New Castle resident recently claimed $200,000 thanks to a June POWERBALL. A Delaware native, the winner claimed his prize June 30 and wishes to remain anonymous.
The lucky retiree plays the Delaware Lottery regularly who says
he has derived entertainment from a variety of games for many years.
His favorite game is POWERBALL and he usually buys two $5 tickets weekly. On his lucky day the winner purchased one ticket and used Quick Pick to select the winning combination of digits. Now married for more than 70 years, the family man has five children, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
