Kansas Lottery to Introduce Powerball Winner on Friday the 13th
TOPEKA, KAN. – Friday the 13th is considered an unlucky day by some, but not for one Kansas resident. A lucky player has claimed the Powerball jackpot-winning ticket of $96.6 million and will be introduced tomorrow during a news conference at Lottery headquarters in Topeka at 3:00 p.m.

The $96.6 million jackpot is the largest Powerball prize won in Kansas. The winner will have to decide whether to take the Annuity option over 29 years (30 payments) or the Cash option which is $48.3 million.
