Atlanta,GA., Police officer hits the Georgia Lotto for $1 million

Atlanta police officer breaks mirror, sees 'unlucky' 13, wins $1 million
An Atlanta Police Department officer is shattering superstitions of bad luck.
On the same day that she broke a mirror, Andrea Evans of Conyers matched the number
13 playing a Georgia Lottery instant game and won $1 million.
Evans purchased her Georgia Lottery's Cash Explosion top prize ticket at Honey Creek Amoco,
located at 3500 Georgia Highway 20 S. in Conyers. She scratched the lucky ticket in her
driveway and began screaming. "I was so happy," she exclaimed. "I called my husband,
but he didn't believe it." Evans, and husband, Eric, have a total of five children.
The family celebrated the lottery win with a special dinner. "Winning is a good feeling," she said.
"We consider ourselves lucky."
