A Canton woman couldn’t believe the news that she was $50,000 richer. The 45-year-old and her mother were at the Eastpoint Mall
to get a watch battery replaced.
While shopping at the Eastpoint Mall in Baltimore, the lotto player was waiting for her mother to make her battery purchase,
she walked over to the American News store and decided to buy one ticket. The following morning she called her mother to check the numbers,
who told her to call the numbers out to her while she checked the newspaper. Once they confirmed she had a $50,000 winning ticket they still
couldn’t believe it they placed the winner ticket in her sister’s safe for safekeeping. This winning Maryland lotto ticket
was sold by American News Baltimore,MD.
