Landrum woman hits $200,000 South Carolina Powerball lotto

Landrum woman hits $200,000 South Carolina Powerball lotto

Landrum,South Carolina: While her husband was finishing up putting gasoline in the car, a Landrum woman had one request.
She asked him to run into the store and get her a Powerball ticket. He didn’t want to.
Then I said, ‘I might share it with you if I win,’ she laughed.
He went in and got his wife a ticket. She won $200,000. And yes, she is going to share the winnings with her husband.
I don’t believe it, she said in the lobby at the Greenville, South Carolina Lotto Claims Center. It doesn’t seem real.

She checked her SC lottery numbers online Sunday. She didn’t believe what she saw and ran to get her husband.
Together they checked the numbers several times, but still weren’t convinced. She tucked the winning
powerball ticket away in her purse and waited for Monday.
Li’l Cricket in Landrum, SC. sold this winning Powerball ticket.
What a thrill, she said. My husband, he still can’t believe it.
