01/11/11 Rodger O'Gara of Mineola hits the Mega Millions lottery for $250,000 Rodger said, This is a big enough jackpot for me, I only play when the jackpot gets big. I was just getting a slice of pizza and ran into a friend. I saw he had Lottery tickets in his hand so I headed next door to buy a few for myself, said O’Gara. The Mineola Card & Smoke on Jericho Turnpike in Mineola sold this winning lotto ticket. Rodger said he will use the winnings to pay bills and pay for college for the kids.
