Spectacular Jackpot for Watertown Grandfather
Arthur F. Gobron of Watertown hit for $1 million playing the $800 Million
Spectacular game from the Massachusetts State Lottery. Gobron,
a grandfather of six, received his first of 20 annuity checks
for $50,000 before taxes today at Lottery headquarters in Braintree.
He bought the lucky ticket at Handy Variety Store on Common
Street in Watertown. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
Gobron is the 47th player to win $1 million lotto.
