Baltimore Teamster Wins $250K Mega Millions lotto

Baltimore,MD., On Friday, Bob Brown, a business agent for the Teamsters
Local #570 matched 5 of 6 numbers on his Mega Millions lotto ticket and
won the $250,000 second-tier prize.
I wish the last number had been reversed, said Bob. The Mega Ball for
Friday’s drawing was a 12 and the Mega Ball number on his ticket was 21.
The lucky winner bought the ticket at Hogan’s Alley, a neighborhood bar.
My wife usually plays some of her numbers, including the family birthdays
and I play Quick Picks, said Bob.

Saturday morning, Bob checked the winning numbers on the Lottery website. When his numbers matched, he immediately woke up his wife to share the good news. He showed her a printout of the numbers, and pointed to the third line on the ticket. I got out of bed and started jumping around, said his wife, Eileen. The celebration has just begun for Eileen, who will be celebrating a birthday at the end of the month.
The happy couple called family immediately and then returned to the bar that night to celebrate with owner Gerard Hogan. They were tickled pink and they set the whole bar up with a round of drinks, said co-owner Sherry Hogan.
We’ll pay some bills and buy a new car, said Bob. The Brown’s also plan to share the winnings with their children. The winning ticket was purchased at Hogan’s Alley located on Covington Street in Baltimore.
