Gallatin Gateway, MT., Sam McAndrew hits $30K Powerball
Sam McAndrew of Gallatin Gateway, MT. has claimed a $30,000 Powerball with Power Play prize from the March 5 drawing. McAndrew bought her ticket at Gateway Market in Gallatin Gateway.
McAndrew has been buying $5 Powerball tickets with Power Play since the jackpot reached over $100 Million. Power Play is an option players can choose for an addition $1 per play. It multiples any prize you win, except the jackpot, up to five times. Last night’s Power Play number was three, making Sam’s $10,000 prize a $30,000prize.
McAndrew is the mother of four sons and has lived in Gallatin Gateway for 16 years. She works at the Boyne Resorts in Big Sky. Sam was in Ennis with one of her sons when her husband called to tell her there was a winner from Gallatin Gateway. Sam said she went and checked her tickets, and found out hers was the lucky Powerball lotto ticket.
Sam and her family plan to use the money to upgrade vehicles, although they’re also thinking of going to the Gallatin Gateway Inn for dinner tonight.
