COLUMBUS,Ohio: Five players won a variety of prize amounts after playing and scratching Ohio Lottery games. Michael V. Sansone of Westerville
won $250,000 after matching five numbers in the February 5, 2008 Mega Millions game. Brian K. Chappell of Mt. Sterling
won $30,000 after scratching Wild Number Bingo. Patty A. Epley of Worthington won $25,000 after scratching
Doubling Star Cashword. Frances E. Runyon of Columbus
won $10,000 on Joker’s Wild. Timothy M. Lee of Pickerington won $10,000 on Cash for Life.
Winners filed claims in the Columbus regional office.
After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 31 percent,
Sansone will receive $172,500. Chappell receives $20,700.
Epley receives $17,250. Runyon and Lee will each receive $6,900.


Sansone purchased the winning ticket from Humidor Plus. He used auto lotto. The winning Mega Millions numbers were 4-5-17-40-51. The mega ball was 38. Humidor Plus, at 6157 Cleveland Avenue in Columbus receives a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Chappell purchased Wild Number Bingo at Sterling Crossing, 227 W. Columbus St. in Mt. Sterling. Epley purchased Doubling Star Cashword from Giant Eagle, 55 Meadow Park Avenue in Lewis Center. Runyon purchased Joker’s Wild from AL’s Market, 224 Reeb Avenue in Columbus. Lee purchased Cash for Life at AML Express, 6750 Refugee Road in Canal Winchester.
