02/06/08 Cisco,GA., nurse wins healthy $255,000 Georgia lottery prize
ATLANTA,GA., A Cisco grandmother has pegged a lottery win. Wilma Jones, a nurse, matched all five winning numbers
in the Jan. 27 Fantasy 5 drawing and won the $255,550 top prize.
She purchased the Quik Pik ticket at St. Clair's #0009, 20 Highway 2 East in Cisco. Winning numbers from the Jan. 27 Fantasy
5 drawing were: 2-7-14-17-21. She discovered her win when she called the Georgia Lottery player information hot line.
"I went to my husband and shouted 'We've won,' " she said. "It's wonderful, wonderful."
Jones, 50, and her husband, Ray, have two adult children and three grandchildren. The couple plan to save their winnings.
"We will always remember this moment," she shared.
