Tomi T. Gjkuria will have two wonderful reasons to celebrate every Jan. 23rd for the rest of his life. It’s not only his daughter’s birthday, but also he will be receiving a $100,000 check that day for the rest of his life.
Gjkuria, who owns a pizzeria in Salem, won the grand prize playing the Set for Life game from the Massachusetts State Lottery. Gjkuria, bought the lucky ticket at White Hen Pantry on Norman Street in Salem. The store will receive a $20,000 commission on the sale.


Set for Life, a $10 instant game, offers 25 grand prizes of $100,000 a year for life. The game also features another 66 instant prizes of $1 million. Overall, there are 27 million winning tickets.
