Essex and Mercer County Winners Join Growing Ranks of NJ Mega Millions Winners


TRENTON, NJ Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players have won the Mega Millions second prize of $250,000 for the Tuesday, February 5 drawing. One of the winning tickets was sold in Essex County , and was purchased at Alen Service Corp., located at 335 McCarter Highway in the City of Newark . The other lucky ticket was sold in Mercer County at Tigers Deli, located at 440 Route 571 in East Windsor .
Congratulations to Alen Service Corp. and Tigers Deli , said the Lottery's Acting Executive Director William T.
Jourdain. For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $500. They have become two of the Lottery's most recent ‘lucky locations' overnight.
While there was no top-prize winner, 89,051 other New Jersey players took home $395,899 in prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000, according to Jourdain.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, February 5 drawing were: 04, 05, 17, 40, and 51 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 38. With no winner of the top prize, the Mega Millions jackpot will roll to $122,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held on Friday, February 8 at 11:00 pm on NJN-TV the New Jersey Network.
