US LOTTERIES FOR SALE TO ITALIAN COMPANY:
We are not talking about Italy, Texas. We are talking Italy, as in the
country.

In a sale worth more than $4.6 billion, Lottomatica, an Italian firm,
is in
the final stages of plans to take over Rhode Island-based Gtech Corp.,
which
operates lotteries in over two dozen states, the largest being the
Texas
lottery.
