05/26/07 JACKPOT GROWS TO ESTIMATED $44 MILLION IN MEGA MILLIONS; Friday`s Drawing Produces More Than 430,000 Winning Tickets
The jackpot in Mega Millions is growing – and there is no shortage of winners! A total of 431,974 tickets from coast to coast won prizes in the Friday, May 25, 2007 drawing. That includes three tickets that each won $250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers, the jackpot for the Tuesday, May 29 drawing grows to an estimated $44 million
Those three tickets that each won $250,000 did so by matching the first five numbers and only missing the Mega Ball number. Two of those tickets were purchased in New Jersey and one in Maryland.
The winning numbers in Friday’s drawing were: 10-14-22-42-43 and the Mega Ball number was 1. Here is a complete breakdown of all the winning tickets:
