LOTTERY SEEKS 3 TULSA-AREA POWERBALL WINNERS

Three Powerball tickets purchased in the Tulsa area have become very valuable for a few lucky individuals following the Saturday, Sept. 29 drawing. Oklahoma Lottery officials are waiting to learn the identities of a $200,000 winner, and two $10,000 winners.

The winning numbers from Saturday’s draw were 31, 33, 38, 49, 55 and the Powerball was 39. The Power Play multiplier was 3.

Oklahoma’s $200,000 winner correctly matched all five white balls, missing only the Powerball, to secure the nation’s third highest prize of the evening. The $15 million jackpot ticket was sold in Louisiana and a $600,000 Power Play ticket was sold in Pennsylvania.

The $200,000 winning ticket was sold at Gas N Shop #2, located at 1001 E. Kenosha in Broken Arrow. The $10,000 winning tickets were purchased at Quik Trip locations in Tulsa: Quik Trip #102, located at 6008 S. 49th W. Ave., and Quik Trip #27, located at 1946 S. Harvard.

The winners have 180 days from the day of the Sept. 29 drawing to claim their prize at Oklahoma Lottery Headquarters, 3817 N. Santa Fe in Oklahoma City.

Jim Scroggins, the Oklahoma Lottery’s executive director, reminded players to carefully check their tickets after every draw and be sure to sign the back of their ticket to prove ownership. Players can obtain winning numbers on the Oklahoma Lottery website, www.lottery.ok.gov, or by visiting their closest Lottery retailer.

Net proceeds of all Lottery games are used to support improvements and enhancements for Oklahoma education. More than $144 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
