POWERBALL rolls over to $95 MILLION for 11/14 Weds
11/11/2007 Powerball The Powerball jackpot continues to grow. Even though the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, 577,902 players across the nation won a total of more than $6.3 million in prizes in America’s favorite Game.
Because no one correctly matched all six numbers the jackpot will grow to an estimated $95 million for Wednesday night’s drawing.
The cash option for the Wednesday, November 14 drawing will be an estimated $45.5 million.
The numbers drawn Saturday were 6, 22, 24, 26, 30 and the Powerball was 12. The Power Play multiplier was 4.
Seven lucky tickets in Arizona (1), Delaware (1), Iowa (1), Idaho (1), Kansas (1), Oregon(1), and South Dakota (1) matched the 5 white numbers and won $200,000.
Thirty-four tickets matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Ten additional winners of that prize category also had the Power Play option that multiplied the win 4 times for a total of $40,000!
A total of 110,250 winning Powerball players multiplied their prize by 4 Saturday. They were able to do that by purchasing the Power Play option for one dollar. With Power Play you multiply any winnings from 2-5 times, except for the jackpot. At the beginning of each drawing a wheel is spun to select that night’s multiplier.
Players purchased more than $23.4 million in tickets between Thursday and Saturday night.
