2 $10,000 Vermont Powerball lotto winners
BERLIN, VT. May 7, 2008 A Montpelier man saw his Spring turn a little greener when he claimed his $10,000 Powerball prize, while another winner discovered he also had won after holding onto his ticket for a week. J. Kevin Graffagnino, purchased his ticket at the Cumberland Farms in Barre. While he has had dreams of winning the jackpot, Mr. Graffagnino was pleasantly surprised to discover his ticket
won $10,000 during the April 30 drawing. The prize was the second $10,000 Vermont Powerball winner this year for that particular Cumberland Farms the first was in April.
The second VT Powerball winner of Fair Haven, Jay Brannock asked a clerk at Liberty Market to check his ticket last week but only after he had held onto the winning slip for a week. At first, Jay thought he had won $1, so was more than a little excited to find that he had, indeed, won a $10,000 prize. There are still 2 unclaimed $10K Vermont Powerball prizes. One Vermont lotto ticket from February at the Wallingford Cumberland Farms, and the other was bought from Discount Beverage in West Brattleboro.
