The Smiths of Custer, South Dakota win $200K Powerball jackpot
01/21/09 Roger and Toni Smith of Custer claimed their $200,000 Powerball jackpot at the Pierre SD Lottery office.
This Powerball prize they won in the 01/17/09 Powerball drawing.
Roger regularly buys Powerball ticket
for each drawing, but late Saturday realized he hadn't bought any
for the drawing that night. Roger asked his wife Toni if she was feeling lucky. I do feel lucky, Toni said, and she headed to the Common Cents in Custer and bought 10 Powerball tickets. Their son verified the numbers on the South Dakota Lottery’s web site.
