$2 Powerball tickets?

01/03/12 Watch for these changes on 1/15/12.

$2 ticket cost
$40 million starting jackpot amount.
$10 million minimum increase on a rollover.
Better odds : From  1 in 195.2 million to 1 in 175.2 million.
Hit 5 white balls for a $1 million jackpot, now at $200K.
Red Powerball number range will be 1-35, reduced from 39 improving your odds of winning.

Power Play.  Power play will not have a multiplier.
Power Play, still an $1 additional per play.
Prizes become set prizes, no longer dependent upon a multiplier, these set prizes are at least double the
original Powerball prize and range from $12 for matching just the Powerball
number to $2 million for matching all 5 white ball numbers.
